We are a duo (Jacki-E & P-Mac) who present our own radio show every Saturday at 10pm UK time, 11pm CET on both NLive Radio www.nliveradio.com and Circl8 Radio www.circl8radio.com and 10pm EST (3am Sunday UK time, 4am Sunday CET) on House Nation Toronto Radio www.hntradio.com.. We put the show together at our home studio. The show is streamed worldwide on the internet via the Tune In Radio app. Each show is posted on our Soundcloud and Mixcloud pages once it has been streamed. We also play gigs as A Darker Wave and we have played at events in Germany, Birmingham, the East Midlands and Brighton. The music we play is techno, tech house and deep house. Each show is 2 hours long. In the first hour we go into the mix with our featured EP of the week and the best of the new releases. In the second hour we invite new and upcoming DJs to come onto the show and do a guest mix. Why are you called A Darker Wave? The guest mix in the second hour is by Raffaele del Zingaro who-s from Naples in Italy. He normally plays hardstyle, a fusion of techno, new beat and hardcore, which is popular in Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium. But for us, he plays dark, peak time techno. For this mix he’s upped the bpm for a really hard hitting set.

The guest mix in the second hour is by Adjust (BE) is a DJ / Producer from Antwerp in Belgium. He started by making melodic techno after taking a MUSICASA production course in 2018. After a number of releases on SMR Underground, TGMS & Papaya he felt the melodic music genre wasn’t the best reflection of what he wanted to do so, in 2022, he began to DJ and produce hypnotic techno. He has his own podcast series, ‘Adjust (BE) Invites’ which has now reached over 100 episodes and 10k+ plays each month.

The guest mix in the second hour is by Heerhorst who’s from Hamburg, Germany, He began making music in 1995 and toured the world for more than ten years using a different alias. In 2017 he began DJ-ing and producing techno under his own name. His music is a blend of styles from pure Techno to Melodic & Industrial. With plenty of releases on major labels including Stil vor Talent, Tronic, & Set About, he’s received active support from artists such as Wehbba, Julian Jeweil, Ramon Tapia and many others.
