We are a duo (Jacki-E & P-Mac) who present our own radio show every Saturday at 10pm UK time, 11pm CET on both NLive Radio www.nliveradio.com and Circl8 Radio www.circl8radio.com and 10pm EST (3am Sunday UK time, 4am Sunday CET) on House Nation Toronto Radio www.hntradio.com.. We put the show together at our home studio. The show is streamed worldwide on the internet via the Tune In Radio app. Each show is posted on our Soundcloud and Mixcloud pages once it has been streamed. We also play gigs as A Darker Wave and we have played at events in Germany, Birmingham, the East Midlands and Brighton. The music we play is techno, tech house and deep house. Each show is 2 hours long. In the first hour we go into the mix with our featured EP of the week and the best of the new releases. In the second hour we invite new and upcoming DJs to come onto the show and do a guest mix. Why are you called A Darker Wave? The guest mix in the second hour is by Splodge AZ1 who's from Luton, UK and is now based in Northampton. During the late 90’s he was influenced and inspired by the Exodus Soundsystem Collective. As the rave scene evolved into a new generation he became part of the legendary AZ1 Soundsystem , DJ-ing hard trance vinyl at free parties cross the country. He then discovered the London techno squat party scene and has been mixing techno ever since. He’s DJ’d at Boomtown, Illusive Festival and Tearout Festival amongst many others.

The guest mix in the second hour is by Raffaele del Zingaro from Naples in Italy. He normally plays hardstyle, a fusion of techno, new beat and hardcore, which is popular in Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium. But for us, he plays dark, peak time techno. This is the sixth time he’s been on the show.

The guest mix in the second hour is by Mondo who’s from Brooklyn, New York City. He learnt to DJ from an early age but began a successful legal career and music took a back seat. He returned in 2013, creating a weekly podcast, Gravity Radio, syndicated to 50 radio stations around the world. He began producing music in 2018 and has had tracks signed to Tronic, Shodan and many other labels. He began a new event, NØ POLITIK, in Brooklyn this September and DJ’d at two events at this years’ Amsterdam Dance Event.
