We are a duo (Jacki-E & P-Mac) who present our own radio show every Saturday at 10pm UK time, 11pm CET on both NLive Radio www.nliveradio.com and Circl8 Radio www.circl8radio.com and 10pm EST (3am Sunday UK time, 4am Sunday CET) on House Nation Toronto Radio www.hntradio.com.. We put the show together at our home studio. The show is streamed worldwide on the internet via the Tune In Radio app. Each show is posted on our Soundcloud and Mixcloud pages once it has been streamed. We also play gigs as A Darker Wave and we have played at events in Germany, Birmingham, the East Midlands and Brighton. The music we play is techno, tech house and deep house. Each show is 2 hours long. In the first hour we go into the mix with our featured EP of the week and the best of the new releases. In the second hour we invite new and upcoming DJs to come onto the show and do a guest mix. Why are you called A Darker Wave? The guest mix in the 2nd hr is by C3C, a DJ / Producer from Utrecht in the Netherlands. His sound is Peak Time Techno with driving beats, tension building breakdowns and powerful drops. His latest EP ‘Transformation,’ a collaboration with Return Fall, was released by Animarium in Sept 2022 and he’s also had releases on Error Records and Sound on Sound.

The guest mix in the second hour is by Mondo who’s from Brooklyn, New York City. He learnt to DJ from an early age but began a successful legal career and music took a back seat. He returned in 2013, creating a weekly podcast, Gravity Radio, syndicated to 50 radio stations around the world. He began producing music in 2018 and has had tracks signed to Tronic, Shodan and many other labels. He began a new event, NØ POLITIK, in Brooklyn this September and DJ’d at two events at this years’ Amsterdam Dance Event.

He began DJ-ing in the mid-1990s and played his first gigs supporting Chris Liebling, Robag Wruhme and Miss Kittin amongst others. He’s been making his own tracks since 2020 and his most recent release is the EP ‘Work, Life, Distance’ out on 4th November 2022 on his own label, We Have Cookies. He’s been DJing for 25 years and regularly plays bars, clubs and festivals around NW England. He’s also DJ’d in Ibiza, Australia and Bulgaria.
