We are a duo (Jacki-E & P-Mac) who present our own radio show every Saturday at 10pm UK time, 11pm CET on both NLive Radio www.nliveradio.com and Circl8 Radio www.circl8radio.com and 10pm EST (3am Sunday UK time, 4am Sunday CET) on House Nation Toronto Radio www.hntradio.com.. We put the show together at our home studio. The show is streamed worldwide on the internet via the Tune In Radio app. Each show is posted on our Soundcloud and Mixcloud pages once it has been streamed. We also play gigs as A Darker Wave and we have played at events in Germany, Birmingham, the East Midlands and Brighton. The music we play is techno, tech house and deep house. Each show is 2 hours long. In the first hour we go into the mix with our featured EP of the week and the best of the new releases. In the second hour we invite new and upcoming DJs to come onto the show and do a guest mix. Why are you called A Darker Wave? The guest mix in the second hour is by 11 Unicorns who are a Berlin based international DJ Duo composed of Maree Walch and Marcus Engel. They produce music ranging from deep house to techno and in their live DJ sets, synthesizers, percussion and drums are used to create a unique sound and club experience. This is the second time they’ve been on the show.

The guest mix in the second hour is by Dj Mikee who's from Wetteren in Belgium. He began DJ-ing in the 1990’s, playing trance, and then left the scene due to family commitments. In 2015 he returned and influenced by Sven Väth, Carl Cox and Pan Pot he became interested in melodic and peak time, driving techno. This is the second time he’s been on our show.

The guest mix in the second hour is by Ramzes, a DJ/ Producer originally from Romania who ‘s now based in Italy. He started producing his own tracks in 2020 and has had releases on Darkcrow Records and Industrial Techno United. His most recent release, “Escape Reality” came out at the end of 2021. His style is dark, industrial techno with hard hitting drums, growling bass lines and hypnotic synths.

The guest mix in the second hour is by Bultech, a DJ/ Producer from Sliven in Bulgaria. He began playing techno in 2019, collaborating with Phoenix Movement to win a Beatport best remix contest, which jump started his career. He’s had releases on Phobos, U.F.O. Infekted and many more. His track “Spice” reached No. 11 in the Beatport chart. He runs his own monthly podcast, “Technography” and he’s played alongside many accomplished artists. He has releases scheduled this year on Ballroom Black, Dark Face, Black Snake and Dolma.

The guest mix in the second hour is by DKLUB, who’s from Southampton in the UK. He broke through in 2020 when he began streaming his DJ mixes. He’s a co-founder of streaming event Eat, Sleep, DJ, Repeat (ESDR) and he also has a monthly show on Data Transmission Radio called ‘This Is Techno.’ He has a second show ‘Techno Bomb’ which is fortnightly on Underground Kollektiv Radio. In 2021 he was voted ‘Best Male Techno DJ’ at the Indulgence With A Twist Up & Comer Awards!

The guest mix in the second hour is by LxL who's from the Netherlands. He started DJ-ing in the 90's in Club Lobbes in Haarlem where he had his own evening. He runs two regular mix series on his You Tube & Soundcloud pages. Deep Vibes features progressive and melodic house whilst Techno Vibes is mostly Peak Time Techno. His mix begins with a some driving techno before moving on to peak time and finishing with some older banging tracks. .

He began his DJ career with a residency at Duel Club in Naples and since then he’s played DJ gigs all over Italy and Europe. He’s currently the creator, coordinator and artistic director of the “4 The Beat” music movement in Naples and this is the third time he’s been on the show.
