The guest mix in the second hour is by Don Weber who’s from Southern Italy. He’s one of a new generation of artists taking the international techno scene by storm. His first EP came out in 2011 under a different alias, and his first EP as Don Weber was in 2016. He has gone on to produce chart topping tracks on some of the best known techno labels including AnalyticTrail, Black Kat, Dolma Records, Gain Records, Off Recordings, Orange Recordings, Phobiq, Riot Recordings, Redrum Music, Reload Black Label, Respekt Recordings, Silent Storm and Syncopate. He’s supported by the likes of Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick and Charlotte de Witte, Luigi Madonna, Markantonio, Paco Osuna, Richie Hawtin, Sam Paganini and Spartaque who have all played his music at their events and livestreams.

The guest mix in the second hour is by Franco Paulsen who is originally from South Africa and is now based in Melbourne, Australia. A talented DJ/Producer, he has developed a unique sound incorporating driving bass lines and dark melodic themes with epic breakdowns. He does regular techno livestreams on Twitch which are a must see and his most recent EP, “Unified Attack” was released in July 2021 on Onesun Records.

The mix Franco's done for us sums up his history in music. The first rave music he listened to was the Thunderdome compilation in 1993 and he's incorporated the old hardcore sounds with current techno tracks.

He started as a drum and bass DJ but changed to techno as a result of visiting Club U60311 in Frankfurt am Main and he’s a member of the Fulda based Side Effect Music Collective. From dark techno vibes spiced with full on acid basses, his mixes have the power and drive of pure techno. This is his seventh appearance on the show.

Despite this he prefers to keep a low profile, working mostly in private from his home studio and we are really fortunate to have this mix from him.

The guest mix in the second hour is by s-R-s, a DJ / Producer from London. He learnt to mix using vinyl in 1988. He was involved in the UK rave scene through friends who were in Sunrise and Biology, promoters of some of the biggest outdoor raves in the UK. After a lengthy break from DJ-ing he got back into music 4 years ago and he now posts mixes regularly on Mixcloud and produces his own tracks which can be found on his Bandcamp page. His mixes are best described as deep, dark and edgy.
