We are a duo (Jacki-E & P-Mac) who present our own radio show every Saturday at 10pm UK time, 11pm CET on both NLive Radio www.nliveradio.com and Circl8 Radio www.circl8radio.com and 10pm EST (3am Sunday UK time, 4am Sunday CET) on House Nation Toronto Radio www.hntradio.com.. We put the show together at our home studio. The show is streamed worldwide on the internet via the Tune In Radio app. Each show is posted on our Soundcloud and Mixcloud pages once it has been streamed. We also play gigs as A Darker Wave and we have played at events in Germany, Birmingham, the East Midlands and Brighton. The music we play is techno, tech house and deep house. Each show is 2 hours long. In the first hour we go into the mix with our featured EP of the week and the best of the new releases. In the second hour we invite new and upcoming DJs to come onto the show and do a guest mix. Why are you called A Darker Wave? The guest mix in the second hour is by Fernando Caneo, a techno DJ / Producer from Valparaíso in Chile. His sets and productions are characterized by impactful sounds that maintain a constant danceable rhythm along with explosive drops. He makes exclusive edits for his DJ sets to engage the audience and leave his own unique mark which he calls Fantastic Techno. The set you’re about to hear was recorded before Christmas at the Techno Stage in Club Ambar, Santiago, Chile and we’ve just got our hands on it. We think it’s exciting, powerful and has lots of little surprises in it that we really like.

He’s based in both Newcastle and London and is currently undertaking a production course at the London Sound Academy.

The guest mix in the second hour is by Ivan Balague aka Troy Evans is from Tarragona in Spain. He began his DJ career in 2008 playing deep house, then later house and tech house, in local bars and pubs. He moved on to Techno in 2018. His first release, a collab with Magic Gas, came out on Moonlife Records in 2023. The pair have also created their own event brand, Raw Techno.

The guest mix in the second hour is by Sam Sagazz who’s originally from Spain and is now based in London. His passion for techno led him to start DJing in 2019 and he’s strongly influenced by hard and groovy rhythms, infectious melodies and deep, hypnotic bass. In this set he’s played at a lower bpm than usual, focusing more on grooves and deeper sounds, combined with a deep hypnotic bass.

The guest mix in the second hour is by Bradley Chalmers aka Skeptic who’s from London. When he was in his teens he built a soundsystem known as 'Concept 60 Free' with his friend Luke Teknology & threw free parties in muddy fields & abandoned warehouses. He quickly built a reputation for upbeat, euphoric & playful DJ sets. His first release 'System Addict' came out in late 2015 & he’s had releases on Amsterdam's 'Anarkick Records', Montreal's 'AlpaKa MuZiK', and Israel's 'Sol Music Records'. His DJ-ing has taken him all over the world including Goa, Koh Phangan and Melbourne.
