A Darker Wave, the best in underground techno, tech house, deep house and anything else we like enough to play in the show, presented by Jacki-E and P-Mac.

 

The guest mix in the second hour is by Brian Vee who’s from Bristol in the UK. He DJ’d at many top venues across England before taking a break from DJ'ing. Then in 2019 he launched the ‘Brian Vee Project’. His unique stripped-down fusion of acid techno, hard house and trance evokes memories of the classic age of rave whilst being firmly rooted in the modern day sound of driving techno. With three releases already this year, including the EP “Defender’, Brian is a prolific producer. Three of his own tracks are included in the set he’s done for us. He’s also used vocal samples from the 80’s and 90’s, producing a set that is both new and familiar at the same time.

Having founded 20 companies in 15 yrs as one of the Netherland’s top tech entrepreneurs, he was listed among the country’s 100 most successful self-made businessmen by the Dutch magazine Quote. He speaks globally on entrepreneurship and has featured on TEDx and in many business publications. He also mentors startup businesses, guiding them through the principles outlined in his book ‘Redesign’. His twin passion is music and the mix you’re about to hear includes all his own tracks, including four that are unreleased.

The guest mix in the second hour is by CraigybDJ who’s from Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the UK. He’s been DJ-ing since the mid 1990’s, heavily influenced by the UK’s underground rave scene and playing acid house and rave music. His sound evolved into Trance and Hard House after which he took a decade’s break before returning to record sets for his Soundcloud page. Craig’s sound is now Techno and Tech House and he has a weekly radio show on DJ Technecks NRG Radio.

The guest mix in the second hour is by Traumwelt is a DJ & Producer from Stuttgart in Germany. His most recent track, ‘Voices in the Dark’, was released in May 2023 via his Bandcamp page. As a DJ he creates immersive and engaging sets that take the listener on a journey through all of the different shades of techno music and that’s exactly what he does in the set he’s done for us.

His influences are artists such as Trym, Eli Brown, Alignment and Amazing Blaze. He’s based in both Newcastle and London and is currently undertaking a production course at the London Sound Academy following which he hopes to bring his own releases to the scene.

The guest mix in the second hour is by Trigitaliz, a Techno DJ/Producer from Lidkoping in Sweden. He combines elements of EDM, glitch hop, and experimental noise to create a sound that is uniquely his own. His DJ style tends towards darker rhythms and driving and peak time techno and he demonstrates this in the set he’s done for us.

A regular at some of the biggest underground music festivals in the UK, playing his own brand of Progressive Psytrance, his style has developed into a deep and groovy, hypnotic form of Techno, with huge dystopian atmospheres and relentless driving energy. This mix is a showcase of his recent work which he’s entitled ‘Created in Cabanyal’. Eight months in the making, it’s packed with new and unreleased material displaying the scope of his musical inspirations and talent.
