We are a duo (Jacki-E & P-Mac) who present our own radio show every Saturday at 10pm UK time, 11pm CET on both NLive Radio www.nliveradio.com and Circl8 Radio www.circl8radio.com and 10pm EST (3am Sunday UK time, 4am Sunday CET) on House Nation Toronto Radio www.hntradio.com.. We put the show together at our home studio. The show is streamed worldwide on the internet via the Tune In Radio app. Each show is posted on our Soundcloud and Mixcloud pages once it has been streamed. We also play gigs as A Darker Wave and we have played at events in Germany, Birmingham, the East Midlands and Brighton. The music we play is techno, tech house and deep house. Each show is 2 hours long. In the first hour we go into the mix with our featured EP of the week and the best of the new releases. In the second hour we invite new and upcoming DJs to come onto the show and do a guest mix. Why are you called A Darker Wave? The guest mix in the second hour is by Diesen is from Hamburg, Germany. He’s held residencies at the Halo Club and the iconic Bambi-Bar and has played various gigs in and around Hamburg. He doesn’t confine himself to a single genre in his DJ mixes and, with a passion and love for driving, groovy sounds, his style is best described as a mix of House and Techno. His latest release ‘Respire’ came out on Audio Safari in August 2023 and the remix by Stereophonie is included in the mix he’s done for us.

The guest mix in the second hour is by Brian Vee who’s from Bristol in the UK. He DJ’d at many top venues across England before taking a break from DJ'ing. Then in 2019 he launched the ‘Brian Vee Project’. His unique stripped-down fusion of acid techno, hard house and trance evokes memories of the classic age of rave whilst being firmly rooted in the modern day sound of driving techno. With three releases already this year, including the EP “Defender’, Brian is a prolific producer. Three of his own tracks are included in the set he’s done for us. He’s also used vocal samples from the 80’s and 90’s, producing a set that is both new and familiar at the same time.

Having founded 20 companies in 15 yrs as one of the Netherland’s top tech entrepreneurs, he was listed among the country’s 100 most successful self-made businessmen by the Dutch magazine Quote. He speaks globally on entrepreneurship and has featured on TEDx and in many business publications. He also mentors startup businesses, guiding them through the principles outlined in his book ‘Redesign’. His twin passion is music and the mix you’re about to hear includes all his own tracks, including four that are unreleased.

The guest mix in the second hour is by CraigybDJ who’s from Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the UK. He’s been DJ-ing since the mid 1990’s, heavily influenced by the UK’s underground rave scene and playing acid house and rave music. His sound evolved into Trance and Hard House after which he took a decade’s break before returning to record sets for his Soundcloud page. Craig’s sound is now Techno and Tech House and he has a weekly radio show on DJ Technecks NRG Radio.
